Beskar, the near-indestructible fictional alloy central to Star Wars: The Mandalorian, doesn't exist — but Citizen built a real watch around translating its texture into metal anyway. Released April 27, 2026 to coincide with The Mandalorian and Grogu's theatrical debut, the AT8385-55E uses Citizen's proprietary Super Titanium (roughly 40% lighter and five times harder than stainless steel) with Duratect DLC coating, while the bracelet's center links go through a new surface-hardening laser process specifically to create Beskar-inspired hammered stripes.
Fan details are layered in without overwhelming the watch: a laser-engraved Mythosaur skull tops the crown, a Mandalorian helmet graphic is etched into the case back, and the dial uses layered inkjet printing for depth. Underneath, it's still a fully functional Attesa — world time across 26 zones, a perpetual calendar, and radio-sync accuracy — limited to just 1,400 pieces worldwide, making it as much a serious daily watch as a collector's piece.
