Every Speedtimer traces back to Seiko's 1969 automatic chronograph, but the SBDL113 leans into that motorsport heritage more directly than most. Nicknamed "Circuit Race," it's built around a black-and-gold dial meant to evoke vintage circuit racing, with a tachymeter bezel — the same speed-measuring tool that defined the original 1969 Speedtimer — front and center rather than an afterthought.
At 41.4mm with the V192 solar chronograph movement, it's a larger, more substantial case than the standard Speedtimer lineup, with a power reserve indicator, date function, and 100m water resistance layered on top of the chronograph. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a stainless steel gold-plated case round out a watch built to look the part of vintage racing gear rather than just reference it in a press release.
