The Charles Darwin Foundation runs the Darwin Research Station in the Galápagos Islands — the only public organization dedicated entirely to preserving the archipelago's ecosystems, staffed by around 100 researchers. G-Shock's fourth collaboration with the foundation, released November 2025, dresses the metal CasiOak-adjacent GA-B2100 in vivid orange and red tones lifted directly from the Sally Lightfoot Crab, one of the islands' most recognizable rock-shore residents.
Beyond the color story, the watch carries the same environmentally-minded construction as the base GA-B2100: a band and bezel made from bio-based resin sourced from renewable organic material, paired with Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth smartphone link so it never needs a battery replacement. It's a watch built to fund and represent real conservation work, not just borrow a nature theme for its dial.
